Caramoan Islands in the Morning

These week I will participate in a Weekly Photo challenge from The Daily Post. The prompt is “Morning.”

The view from Mount Caglago

To get to this view you must go to Tabgon, it is a Barangay within the Caramoan Municipality in Bicol, Philippines. It is within walking distance from my home. To get up here you must climb over 500 steps up the edge of a mountain spur. This place is excellent for exercise and it is also frequented by many pilgrims because of the chapel and statue of Mother Mary that is up here.

    1. It takes about 25 minutes to walk to the base of the stairs from my place, then it is about 30 minutes to walk up them. Longer if you decide to take photos. The Church keep the place maintained with different flowers and a fantastic view.
